Taman Baca Anak Lebah Opens the Morning with Books and Laughter at the "Ayo Sehat Festival 2024"
Bandung, 14 September 2024 — In the series of Ayo Sehat Festival 2024 events held in the
yard of Gedung Sate, Bandung, the Taman Baca Anak Lebah Indonesia Literacy Foundation participated by holding an activity entitled “Pagi Penuh Cerita: Mulailah Hari dengan Buku dan Tawa”. Acara ini mengajak masyarakat, terutama anak-anak, untuk memulai hari dengan kegiatan positif melalui buku dan aktivitas menyenangkan.
The event hosted by Taman Baca Anak Lebah presents interactive talkshow sessions , imaginative storytelling, and various physical and mental activities involving children. Among them are cheerful gymnastics sessions that begin with cheerful laughter and enthusiasm, as well as interactive Q&A sessions that build awareness of the importance of literacy from an early age.
This collaboration aims to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining mental and physical health through literacy activities. Children’s active participation in interactive storytelling and enthusiasm in asking questions and sharing experiences show that this event is not only informative, but also has a direct impact on building good habits.
The children’s creative answers not only brought joy, but also gave them the opportunity to take
home a goodie bag filled with exciting prizes.
This festival is part of the Ministry of Health’s campaign to encourage people to live healthier through various educational and entertainment programs, and to prove that literacy can be an integral part of a healthy lifestyle.
The Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, also attended the event with the Minister and was also accompanied by a well-known public figure, Merry Riana, who also greeted the children and gave a message about the importance of mental and physical health from an early age. The presence of these important figures further strengthened the spirit of literacy and health at the event.
Through the collaboration with various parties, this event has succeeded in becoming an educational and fun event for children. Hopefully this small step will inspire more children in Indonesia to start their day with books, laughter, and a healthy lifestyle.
