Bogor, July 15, 2025 – In an era where information flows rapidly and the digital space is wide open, communication crises can arise at any time, triggered by either internal or external factors. In such situations, the ability to respond accurately, strategically, and professionally becomes essential. Recognizing the importance of this, PT Agrinesia Raya has taken a proactive step by organizing an Issue & Crisis Communication training, led directly by Mrs. Elvera N. Makki, CEO and Founder of VMCS Advisory, who also served as the training facilitator.
The training aims to strengthen the communication team’s preparedness and broaden cross-functional understanding of issue and crisis management within the company. Attended by business owners and the company’s board of directors, the training reflects Agrinesia’s strong commitment to building a comprehensive and collaborative crisis communication ecosystem.
“We believe that crises are inevitable, but they can be prepared for. This training is a strategic step to ensure that Agrinesia’s communication team is not only ready to act, but also capable of leading the narrative calmly and accurately,” said Rizka Wahyu Romadhona, Managing Director of PT Agrinesia Raya.
The training was conducted intensively, combining strategic theory with hands-on practice that required speed, precision, and teamwork among participants. One of the most challenging yet engaging parts of the training was the crisis simulation session, where participants were trained to respond under media pressure in a case scenario simulating a reputational emergency.
In this session, participants were required to deliver statements to the media professionally, manage public perception, and maintain trust in the company amidst a barrage of sensitive questions. The simulation was facilitated by Inne Sudjono, a senior media and communications practitioner widely recognized for her experience as a journalist and news anchor. In addition, Harun Mahbub Bilal served as co-facilitator, guiding participants in crafting key messages and applying balanced communication techniques to handle public pressure effectively.
“Crisis preparedness is not the responsibility of a single division. The entire team must speak with one voice, follow one strategy, and move in one direction when facing public pressure,” said Anggara Kasih Nugroho Jati, President Director of PT Agrinesia Raya, who also opened the training with a keynote session and reflection on the importance of building a resilient communication system from the outset.
This training is part of Agrinesia’s internal transformation to build a more adaptive and responsive organization in the face of environmental change. Beyond technical communication skills, the training also encouraged participants to develop social sensitivity, public empathy, and the importance of preserving message integrity.
“We understand how vital reputation resilience is amid business challenges and public expectations. This training is part of our communication culture transformation to ensure our team is well-prepared to protect the brand’s integrity and stakeholder trust,” said Nanang Siswanto, Marketing Director of PT Agrinesia Raya.
Through this training, Agrinesia aims to foster a culture of communication that is stronger, more responsive, and strategically grounded, empowering each individual not just as a message deliverer, but as a perception manager and guardian of public trust. With enhanced preparedness, Agrinesia reaffirms its commitment to moving forward as an open, professional company ready to face future reputation challenges.
