As a form of concern for improving children’s literacy in Indonesia, Taman Baca Anak Lebah recently carried out a book donation activity for the Fatimah Bamboo House Foundation. This initiative was also supported by JNE, which helped ensure the books were delivered safely and on time.

The delivery process of book donations from Taman Baca Anak Lebah to the Fatimah Bamboo House Foundation was supported by JNE.

Through this activity, Taman Baca Anak Lebah donated a collection of children’s books, ranging from illustrated storybooks and mini encyclopedias to books that introduce positive character values. The donated books are the result of generous support from donors and carefully curated purchases by the Taman Baca Anak Lebah team.

Each book was selected through a thorough review process to ensure it matches the needs and reading interests of the children receiving the books.

A total of 1,221 books have been collected, ready to be enjoyed by children across various categories from children’s stories, science books, comics, and cartoons to young adult novels, in both Indonesian and English.

The donation is expected to enrich the reading facilities for children under the care of Fatimah Bamboo House, which has long been providing a safe and creative learning space for local children.

“We believe that books are the windows to the world. By sharing books, we hope to help children discover their love for learning and boundless imagination,” said Elvera N. Makki, founder Taman Baca Anak Lebah.

Fatimah Bamboo House Foundation warmly welcomed this initiative and expressed gratitude for the support and care shown by all parties involved. The support from JNE also played an essential role in the success of this activity, aligning with the company’s commitment to supporting social and educational movements across Indonesia.

“We are proud to collaborate in an initiative that creates a positive impact on the community. We hope more people will be inspired to spread kindness through literacy,” added Eri Palgunadi, a Senior Vice President of Marketing at PT. Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE).

Through this collaborative effort, Taman Baca Anak Lebah, Fatimah Bamboo House, and JNE hope to foster a love of reading among children while nurturing values of empathy and sharing for a brighter, more empowered young generation.
